I’m really excited to have signed up to Herefordshire’s ‘open studio’ event, h.Art 2021, running from Saturday 4th through til Sunday 12th September. Having relocated to Herefordshire back in December, I’ve been keen to connect with the county’s crafts scene and to get my name out there in terms of commissions and so forth. I’ve attended open studio events in the past (in particular Cambridgeshire’s, having grown up there), and always enjoyed the informal, casual atmosphere of visiting makers’ studios and workshops and seeing where the art and craft is made. Workshops are such important spaces for makers and artists and getting the opportunity to be invited in is really special. I’m therefore very chuffed to be opening up my own workshop at our new home at Castle Farm in Collington, where I’ll be exhibiting my work whilst continuing my woodworking activities for visitors to watch and chat…
